Angela_Bassett

Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the US. She has been recognized for her film and TV performance since the 1980s. The awards she has won include the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised in New York New York and fostered by an aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. At the age of Bassett was around five, she and her sister moved from the city of St. Petersburg, Florida to live with their mother who was been divorced from her father. Bassett was in high school when saw the James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck in the play Of Mice and Men and knew that her dream of being an actor had come true. Yale University New Haven Connecticut awarded her a bachelor's degree (1980) which was in African American study, and an advanced degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in the year 1980. She was a student at the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her leading parts, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
